Raw source files are inputs, not products. A production data product needs a stable contract, reproducible transformations, quality evidence, and an explicit publication decision.
From source artifact to release
The pipeline records the source release identifier and checksum before parsing. Normalization produces typed rows, while quality gates compare row counts, required-field coverage, uniqueness, and artifact integrity.
Publication follows release integrity checks
A successful transform does not automatically make a release public. The pipeline advances catalog and artifact pointers together only after required source, quality, policy, and storage checks pass.
Current public state
The current catalog contains 25 published specialty products derived from the reviewed NPPES release with source data through August 23, 2026. Purchases remain bound to an immutable product snapshot.
